About my Ride

This Mopar was a one owner car when I found it in a garage with get this 8,200 miles on it. The origional owner died and it had been sitting high and dry under wraps litteraly for over 20 years. The Polyspherical Head 318 motor was re-worked but made to look right out of the factory. The interior was refinished as factory, even the door panels, the seat  material was gathered in Mo-Town from NOS material. My hot rod background couldnt resist the wheel change to American Torq Thrust 17 in front and 18's rear. Stopping comes from early 70's Mopar 11-3/4" front disc and 11x3" rear chrysler finned drum brakes (couldnt resist). Documentation from Chrysler Corp. The origional build sheets and a nod frfom Galens registry ensures the car is all there. So I tried not to change the ol-girl too much in respect for the origional owner who died babying the car herself.

I have the same car in Albuquerque.  I am originally from Detroit and love 440s from '63.  I would like the owner to send me an e-mail so I can get some upholstery ideas.  Thanks,

rocknrod:
You have done a super job on this car. I had one identical to it in the 70's, but mine was black w/white seats which I replaced w/black seats. I must not forget the Mickey Thompson tires w/chrome reverse wheels! I loved it. I often fantasize about buying another one that is fully restored and in as beautiful condition as yours. Let me know if you ever decide to sell her! She's a beauty!
