About my Nova

Originally an SS396 car now with a full pro street treatment built by owner. Motor now a 8.71 blown 540, TH400 by Trans Specialties, 9 inch ladder bar rear with 4.11 gears. 31x18.5x15 rear Hooser QTP. Custom interior and so much more!! As of the beginning of 2009, this car now sports a Moser M9 sheet metal rear, new ladder bars (all powdercoated), new 56" wheelie bars, parachute, complete new tin work in the trunk (cell, batt. boxes, etc), new exhaust (coated), and a ton more!! Consistently still wins awards at the shows it goes to. Even took a Best Engine award at the 2009 NMCA race & show at Maple Grove. Car went down the track in late 2007 and managed a best of 10.06 @ 134 mph with lots of problems (this run was off the gas at the 1000 ft mark and one of the reasons I changed the rear and everything associated with the rear chassis).

yes, it is street legal. Inspected, insured, and tagged. It does see limited street time, but it has taken both of my kids to school on occasion.

1000 hp wow, I'd love to have a car with that much power.  Is it street legal?
