About my Nova

This is my younger brothers Nova that we finished less than a year ago. We built the entire car ourselves, did the paint and body, and built the motor. Not too bad for a couple "kids" i guess. The motor is a 355 with cast iron factory heads (extensive port work) Isky cam (485 lift 280 dur 108 lobe sep.)Aluminum roller rocker arms,2.02/1.60 stainless swirl polished valves, forged KB pistons zero decked, forged I-beam rods and a factory forged crankshaft. It sports an Edelbrock Performer 750cfm carb atop an Performer RPM Air-Gap intake, an MSD E-curves lights her off, and an aluminum edelbrock Vicotr water pump and aluminum radiator keep her cool. This is all backed by a built (kevlar clutches and bands/shift kit) TH-700R4 tranny and a B&M 3200 stall converter. Its got the origional 10-bolt out rear with sum beefy guts including a set of Moser Extreme axles, Eaton posi, Richmond 3.73:1 gears, a girled cover and Mosure billet yoke all connected to 1350 Spicer u-joints.
The interiors got a 6-point Nascar styled cage, Autometer gauges set in a Covans Classic instrament panel, Corbeau Racing seats and RCI 4-point harnesses. Holding all this up is a suspension with Hotchkis 2" lowering coils and 1 1/2" lowering leaves, all poly bushings where rubber used to be, Addco sway bars front and rear and rebuilt front discs with 1-ton truck rear drums. Thats all I can think of right now..... oh yeah and a RCI 20 gallon polished aluminum fuel cell and Russell Stainless braided lines throughout.
