About my Lumina

My car is a 1992 Chevrolet Lumina Z34.

Engine: All new 3.4 DOHC V6 is has a 1992 LQ1 block bored out .060 with Gen.II Heads for higher compression. It has a 7000 RPM redline. It has a 60degreeV6 performance chip with custom fuel and spark curves for optimal performance.

Trans.: 4t60E 4speed automatic with overdrive.

Interior: Stock with some small changes and recovered seats and new dash assembly. Custom dash speaker grilles.

Exterior: All original white paint. Underside is completely undercoated. New 2.5" exhaust and dual mufflers. 18" Milani Rims with Rakien ZR tires.

Audio: Custom flushmounted 12" Kicker Solo Baric L5 with a Memphis 1000D Mono block amplifier. Kicker component tweeters and Pioneer 6x9 rear shelf speakers. Kicker SS component door speakers and kicker component dash speakers.

About my ride: It is my 1st car i bought it for $700 as a farm car and thats when the major work began. It has 150,000 original miles before the new motor. I currently take it to local shows. If you have any questions or comments feel free to tell me.

well i havent personally done a swap like that with the 3800series2 sc but i have seen it done if yours has a 3.8 already it is pretty straight forward . if its a 3.1 i believe you will have to get the harness ecm/pcm out of the century. then it should have all the correct mounting locations on your car. i would upgrade your fuel pump. any other questions just post back

Hi, I like your car.  I have a 1996 Lumina LS and had thought about upgrading to an '02 Buick 3800 V6  series w/ a supercharger..(out of a smashed Century)...but I don't know if it will fit, etc. My car is also one I got for $600.00 (to replace riding a city bus-lol). Any tips on an engine swap?
