I live in Russia. I restore this car last four years. In the very beginning I even didn't know what to do! American cars are rare here, and no one knows how to assemble this car.
I started from a pile of rusted parts, the car was completely disassembled. I went through a lot of mistakes, but now it is almost finished.
Most of the parts were either worn out or substituted with parts from russian cars, the engine was missed. Sometimes it was really hard to put all the parts together since we don't have good manuals and right parts. Thanks to our good friend William Maybury from Texas, he helps us to collect parts from eBay and different sources, and gives us information.
Now it has LT1 MPEFI engine and 4L60E transmission from '95 Chevy Caprice, stock suspension with polyurethane bushings, and stock power disk brakes from 1972 LeMans Station Wagon (parts donor).
And by the way LeMans belongs to my friend Olia. Yes she is girl! and I do this for her!
