I have owned my Chevelle for 35 years this is my high school car !  it has had 4 different engines , 5 different transmissions , 3 different brake setups , I have painted it 3 times in that time. It has evolved over the years to its present specs  engine Beck Racing Engines 383 480 HP 475 TOROUE , Tremec TKO 600 5 SPD , 12 posi 3:73 , all Global West control arms upper & lower front& rear , Hotchkis springs , Edelbrock shocks , 1.375" DIA. front sway bar , 1"  DIA rear bar , Baer Brakes track 13" front , 12" rear with a hydro- boost , Boyds smoothie 2 wheels 17-8 with Nitto NTO-1 TIRES . I have run some SCCA SOLO-2 track days and it has done well running better times than some late model F bodys . This year we went on the POWER TOUR long haul 4300 miles with no mech. problems and avg. 18 mpg and it's carburated!
