My wife found this car for me after I missed deal after deal (lucky me,huh!)  So after I rebuilt the 289 with upgrades such as: bored .30 over, new internals, roller tip rockers, 2.5 in exhaust with x-pipe and flow master american thunder series mufflers, and a Holley 600 cfm carb.  Other upgrades include electric trunk release, SPAL fan, aluminum radiator, push-button start, 17" Mustang GT wheels, and disc brakes.  The car has decent power, but I'm always seeking more.  Currently I'm stripping the paint off the car to prepare for body and paint work..Future projects include installation of an electric fuel pump and 4-5 speed manual tranny.  Would love to get 400hp on a budget!
