About my Corvair

1967 Chevy Corvair Monza coupe. 2 owner car. Rust free N.J. car, which is a rare thing, with salt on the roads in winter. Car was well taken care of and garaged by the original owner. Automatic 110 hp engine. New headers. 52,000 original miles. Restored to near show quality. Everything either replaced with NOS or repro pieces.
New paint, wheels and tires. 14" American Racing chrome Torque Thrust II wheels and B.F. Goodrich tires. NOS front grill bar and rear exhaust grill. Chrome plated the aluminum headlight bezels. NOS rocker chrome trim. NOS front signal light chrome bezels. NOS door sill plates. Repro chrome side mirrors. NOS rear view mirror. Front and rear windshield trim is NOS as well as the wheel well trim. NOS front plastic spoiler. All window, door, engine , and trunk weatherstriping and window fuzzies are new. Rechromed vent window trim. Rechromed bumpers. New windshield. Replaced front drum brakes with disc brakes. Rebuilt am/fm radio. Also installed secret audio system under dash and added rear Visonix 5X7 speakers. New driver door panel. All original upholstery, except driver seat, which has new upholstery. New chrome interior and exterior handles. New carpet and mats. New Grant wood steering wheel. Chrome plated ash tray. Rechromed shifter bezel. Chromed plastic shifter knob. Rechromed rear ashtrays. NOS chrome radio faceplate. New brake and gas pedal. New dome light and bezel. New show quality carbs. New chrome alternator. Air cleaner assembly, including bottom cross tube have been chrome plated, as well as the top engine shroud. I hand painted a Rat Fink on the chrome oil filter cover, using one shot enamel. New windshield washer bottle and bracket. New plugs, plug wires, distributor and battery. New red powder coated fan. New billet pulley, and chrome fuel lines. New chrome fuel pump cover, oil filler tube and cap. Chrome fan belt guides.  New shocks, oil pan, chrome valve covers, and rear differential cover. New headlights, and NORS taillights and trim. All emblems were replaced with NORS pieces. Trunk and engine latches were chrome plated. Stock exhaust and mufflers were replaced with Clark's ultimate exhaust headers and muffler system. Now it growls!
